WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- Detours are planned in West Carrollton as demolition crews will remove a water tower on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
A truck crashed into the water tower early Tuesday morning. The crash caused heavy damage to the truck, and visual structural damage to the water tower. The decommissioned 100,000 gallon tower, built in the 1930s at Central Avenue and Elm Street has been planned since early this year.
City officials say it's not the result of the semi truck crash.
The water tower drop will take place at 10:30 a.m.
Traffic will be closed from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
